Practical guides — measure, decide, follow up.

Hands-on implementation guides for the topics across air, water, light, fields, and the sky. Each playbook gives you a measurement protocol, a decision point, and a follow-up — designed for someone who wants to act, not just read.

Topics: bedroom EMF audit · family setup · air purifiers · tap-water testing

Your health exists in an environment — and that environment has two layers. There is the space around Earth: solar activity, geomagnetic fields, and the rhythms of the natural world that surround us whether we notice them or not. And there is the space inside your home: the air you breathe, the water you drink, the light you live under, and the electromagnetic fields from the devices and wiring around you.

The Playbooks section is where understanding becomes something practical. Each guide starts from a measurement — something you can read, record, and return to over time — and works outward from there. The aim is a clearer picture of what is actually present in your environment, what it might mean in context, and what steps are proportionate and realistic for your situation. Some of that will lead to a small change at home. Some of it will simply lead to a better-informed sense of calm.

Two Environments, One Framework

Your Built Environment — What You Can Measure and Change

Indoor air, drinking water, light quality, and electromagnetic fields are the four pillars of the home environment. All four are measurable with accessible consumer tools. All four have meaningful, regulation-backed thresholds to orient against. The Playbooks in this track follow a consistent rhythm: establish a personal baseline, understand what the numbers mean in your specific context, and identify steps that actually fit your home and your life.

  • Air — CO₂ as a ventilation compass, particulate matter and HEPA verification, mould and moisture control, radon in DACH homes, VOC and formaldehyde sensor literacy
  • Water — PFAS and emerging contaminants, filter technology decision trees, lead and copper in older plumbing, testing before treating
  • Light — circadian lighting baselines, melanopic light and sleep quality, LED flicker and EU metrics, practical evening wind-down protocols
  • Electromagnetic fields — household EMF audits, dirty electricity, bedroom setup, ALARA principles for everyday non-ionising exposure

Your Natural Environment — What You Can Track and Learn From

Solar activity and geomagnetic conditions cannot be changed — but they can be tracked, and tracking them turns out to be genuinely useful. When you log your Heart Rate Variability alongside space-weather data over weeks and months, patterns can emerge: days where your energy or recovery feels different, and conditions that may help explain why. That picture gives you something to work with. You can plan around periods that have historically been less favourable for you, test whether changes to your sleep or training routine affect how your body responds to environmental shifts, and over time build a more intuitive sense of how your personal rhythms relate to the natural ones around you. Heliobiology research supports the idea that these connections are real for many people — the degree to which they apply to you is something only your own data can begin to show.

  • Solar & geomagnetic context — understanding space-weather indices, following solar activity, and knowing what elevated Kp actually means for day-to-day planning
  • Heart Rate Variability — how to track it consistently, how to read trends over time, and how to use it as the anchor metric for environmental observation
  • Personal baseline kit — combining environmental data with personal logging to build a meaningful picture that compounds in value over time. See also: the SolarHealth App
